In Loving Memory of
Weston Dean Peterson
Born into Heaven on November 28th
Our sweet son, Weston, was with us for only a short time, but he filled our hearts with a lifetime of love. Though our arms are empty, our hearts are forever marked by the joy of his life and the depth of our love for him.
In our grief, we echo the cry of David—a father who begged God for his child with every breath he had:
“David pleaded with God for the child… he fasted and spent the nights lying on the ground.” — 2 Samuel 12:16
Like David, we prayed, we pleaded, and we loved fiercely. And like David, we rest now in the promise that our little one is held safely in the arms of the Lord.
We take comfort in Jesus’ words:
“Let the little children come to me… for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” — Matthew 19:14
Though his time here was brief, Weston is now in perfect peace, cradled by his Savior. We hold onto the blessed hope that one day we will be reunited in Heaven, where there will be no more sorrow, only joy.
Weston is loved beyond measure by his parents, Michael & Araceli, and by a family who will carry him in their hearts forever.
Weston is survived by his Dada & Mama Michael Peterson & Araceli Sandoval, big brother Waylon Peterson of Bagdad Az. Grandparents Robert & Yvette Sandoval. Dawna Searle, & Gary Peterson. Great Grandparents William (Bud) Rudy, Tina Harkonen, Pedro & Maria Sandoval, Bill Carroll & Mary Anne Callan. Lots of Aunts, Uncles & cousins that love him.
“He will gather the lambs in His arms and carry them close to His heart.” — Isaiah 40:11
