BONO - Whitney Suzanne Jones, 36, of Bono, passed from this life Aug. 16, 2023. Whitney was born in Jonesboro on Aug. 25, 1986, to Wayne Hogan and Susan Barton.
She was preceded in death by both parents.
Whitney grew up and spent all of her life living in Jonesboro. She loved shopping for purses like Michael Kors and Louis Vuitton. Whitney also enjoyed treating herself to manicures and pedicures. She also had a love for tattoos.
The most important thing for Whitney was being with her family. She cherished spending time with her husband, siblings, nieces and nephews. But she especially loved being with her son.
Whitney is survived by her husband of 15 years, Eric Jones of Bono; son, Jace Jones of Bono; brothers, Dustin Norwood (Mallory) and Patrick Wall, both of Brookland; sisters, Peyton Wall of Brookland and Hannah Carder (Kade) of Cash; and stepmother, Colleen Hogan of Jonesboro; as well as her grandmother, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Emerson Funeral Home. A visitation will precede the service from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be private.
