Whittney Brieanne Stephens
June 09, 1991 - April 24, 2024
Our beautiful girl passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at the age of 32, after a medical complication due to alcoholism. Whittney was a beautiful, funny, charismatic soul that loved her family and friends deeply. She worked hard time and time again to overcome her disease with many inpatient rehabs and therapy sessions. She had many months of sobriety over the past several years, but after the loss of her brother two years ago, she fell deep into her darkness and ultimately lost her battle.
Whittney's passion started at a young age working at Expressions Enumclaw / Memory Care. She loved her patients and took care of them with such respect and compassion. She went on to become a CNA and worked at Swedish Issaquah.
Whittney had the most infectious laugh and beautiful smile. She loved music, scary movies and reality tv. She loved to watch cooking shows and was always experimenting with recipes. She was thoughtful and kind and loved leaving a little surprise on the porch for you to brighten your day.
Her heart was so full of love, she always told you how much she loved you, and those are precious memories that will be forever cherished.
She is survived by her daughters: Mia & Olivia Stoppard (Ellensburg), son: Beau Rees (Puyallup), parents: Daric & Cyn-Delilah Grosso (Enumclaw), Dan & Maria Stephens (California), brother: Eric Grosso (Idaho), sister: Isabella Grosso (Sumner), sisters: Jennifer & Jazmyne Stephens (California), brother: Kevin Stephens (California), Aunts & Uncles: Brett & Heidi Grosso, Deanne Jones, Walter & Melissa Bennett, Brad & Robin Stalley, Debbie Stalley, Scott Stephens, Michelle Gilles, Mike Stephens, Matt Stephens. Grandparents: Donald Grosso (Covington), Barbara Grosso(Enumclaw), Donald & Cheryl Stephens(California) and many many cousins, nieces and nephews and dear family friends. She is proceeded in death by her brother Anthony Stephens.
Being loved by Whittney was a constantly astonishing gift. We love you dearly sweet babygirl, we were so blessed to have you.
No services will be held, memorial contributions may be made to any addiction recovery program.
