Mr. Wilbert Bartz

Wilbert Bartz, age 81 of Dorr, passed away December 23, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia in 2011, his parents Bert and Theresa (Holzen) Bartz, and his sister Fern Bartz. Wilbert will be lovingly remembered by his son Scott Bartz; his grandsons Travis Bartz and Jared Venema; his brother Louie (Carol) Bartz and several nieces and nephews. Wilbert was a lifelong farmer, operating his own dairy farm and in later years working alongside his son on his grain farm. Wilbert was a member of St. Mary's Visitation Catholic Church. He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. A time for relatives and friends to visit with Wilbert's family will be held from 1-4 PM Sunday with a Rosary at 3:30 PM at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services in Dorr, 4330 18th St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Monday, December 30, at St. Mary's Visitation Catholic Church. Reverend Father Charles Fischer and Father Stephen Rodrigo will be presiding. Interment will be at North Dorr/ Visitation Catholic Cemetery, with military honors.
