Wilbert "Boss" Blair, 83, of Pellyton, KY, a United States Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam War, passed away at his home on Friday, January 30th, 2026.

Born on Barnetts Creek in Adair County, Kentucky, Boss was a lifelong farmer, working cattle, tobacco, and produce. He was known for his honesty, hard work, and the best watermelons and cantaloupe in the community. He professed faith in Christ and was a longtime attendee of Barnetts Creek Community Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Mary Ann Dean Blair; his parents, Elvin and Irene Sanders Blair; and brothers Ronald Blair and Bobby Joe Blair.

He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Blair Langford and husband David of Somerset; sons James Blair and wife Sheila of Columbia, and William Blair of Indiana; grandchildren Kristen Donahue and husband Chad, Andrew Blair and wife Jacinda, Quintin Blair, and Kathryn Blair; great-grandchildren Allie, Halen, Hyson, and Elijah; brothers Winford Blair (Beverly) of Columbia and Charles Blair (Brenda) of Mount Orab, Ohio; uncle Stanley Rich of Columbia; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Haven Hill Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by VFW Post 6097.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00pm on Wednesday and will continue Thursday until time for the service at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

Bro. Troy Long will be officiating, and pallbearers will be Andrew Blair, Jordan Blair, Chris Blair, Robin Blair, Chad Donahue, and Amos Gaskin.
