Mr. Wilbert Earl Davis, age 73, the son of the late Clarence Davis and the late Leola Vanfield Davis, was born September 12, 1951, in Newberry, SC. He entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Prisma Heath Baptist Hospital.
Mr. Davis graduated from Gallman High School; he was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church. His hobbies were Fishing and Hunting. He loved to watch football and basketball. He would also sit and complete word puzzles and watch old black-and-white movies.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Margie Caldwell, and two brothers, Clarence Layton Davis and John Walter Davis.
Mr. Davis leaves behind to cherish his precious memories one son, Joshua Earl Davis (Kanika)of Trenton, S.C.; one daughter Nikkita Perry (Anton) of Jacksonville, FL; one brother James R. Davis of Prosperity, S.C.; three sisters Janie Trapp of Blair, S.C., Lillie R. Chick of Newberry, S.C., and Cynthia Sanders of Columbia, S.C.; six grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and many other relatives who mourn his departure.
Visitation will be held 1-5pm March 25, 2025, Wilson Funeral Home Newberry, SC.
Funeral Services will be conducted 1pm Wednesday March 26, 2025, Gethsemane Baptist Church Blair, SC.
Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at the home of his sister Mrs. Lillie R. Chick 921 Bess St. Newberry, SC 29108
