Wilbert "Butch" J. Watson Jr., born on January 5, 1954, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania entered into eternal rest on November 8, 2025. A proud United States Army veteran, Butch honorably served his country during the Vietnam War in Field Artillery with courage and dedication.

Butch is survived by his beloved son, Joseph J. Watson, of St. Paul, Minnesota and cherished grandson, Marquise Watson. of Massachusetts. He was a devoted "bonus father" to April, Robert, and Barbara Dancy, all of Reading, Pennsylvania. Butch was preceded in death by his loving mother, Anita Perry, brother, Tony Watson and sister, Jewel Watson and is now reunited with them in peace. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Butch worked in distribution at Exide Battery for 25 years, retiring in 2008.

Butch was also blessed to have the love and support of his extended veteran community Judy and Art Valley and Edward Hampton who became family to him.

Butch will be remembered for his strength, loyalty, and unwavering sense of duty both to his family and his country. His legacy of love, service, and friendship will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
