Wilburn “Mack” Smith, age 61 of Dayton, passed away at his home on Sunday, January 25, 2026. He was born in Dayton on August 5, 1964, the son of the late Clyde Smith and Patsy (Price) Gossett. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Clarence Smith, Billy Smith, and Jerry Smith, and his sister, Pearl Smith.
Mack was a lifelong Dayton resident who owned Mack's Towing and worked as a handyman at MSHN Enterprises. He enjoyed fishing and attended Sale Creek Church of God.
Mack is survived by his wife of 36 years, Patricia (Bunch) Smith; his daughter, Ashley Smith; his brother, James (Kim) Gossett; and his sister, Patricia Smith, all of Dayton.
Funeral services for Mack will be in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Terry Bolton officiating. He will be laid to rest in Rhea Memory Gardens after the service.
