Wiley "Coyote" Pilgram Jr.

Wiley (Coyote) Pilgram, Jr. passed away on Jan. 31, 2023, at age 71. He was born in Philadelphia, Miss. on Feb. 22, 1951. Graduate of E. J. High School 1969. He was a navy veteran with an Honorary Discharge. Wiley loved golf. He went to the Masters in 2003. Beloved husband and lovely bride of 24 years to Susan (Susie) Strain Pilgram, Pilgram, married twice, Nov. 29, 1997, and July 25, 2014. Father of Virgil Pilgram (Dana) and stepsons Beau Guise (Jennifer) and Brian Guise. Grandfather of Clarissa and Isabella Pilgram, step-grandson Nolan Guise. Sister Ann Babb, brother-in-law Dean Strain. Preceded in death by father, Wiley Pilgram, Sr., mother Alma Tubby Freshour, brother-in-law Randolph Babb, stepmom Beatrice Sanchez Pilgram, mother-in-law Elsie Mae Strain. Survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He also loved his pets, Sugarbaby and Ambergirl. Wiley worked at Frisards Trucking for 20 years under Martin Frisard (Brenda). Wiley was very active in his church, Vineyard Church of N. O., Kenner, La., where he was employed 9 years on the facility team under Robbie Bales (Liane) with Gary Nobles, Scott Gill, Moses Nalwimba, Ron Folse. Wiley had many sayings ... Wiley-isms. He loved golf, pool, playing drums, and big time fan of LSU and the Saints.
