Wilfred "Bill" G. Moore

Since I was involved in the DXCC Award Program, Mr.Moor guided me with tips to improve my score. One good man is no longer among us,.....,we will iss you, Bull....

I am so sad for Bill passing

I ALWAYS called him "Uncle Willie" and since we both diabetic, I always told him have a donut on me !

Bill was my main "contact" at DXCC for many, many years. His help was invaluable and he is missed. 73s my friend.

Bill came to many field days that I had over 20 years. He was a good guy. 73. K1dii. Bill.

Margaret and I were fortunate to be in the Hartford area shortly after Bill's accident, and had the opportunity to see Bill and talk with him. As Bill's supervisor in the Membership Services Department, I always found Bill a great asset to the DXCC program. No one knew "the system" like Bill, and I know DXers miss his willingness to discuss DXing with the gang. RIP Bill

We were so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He was a good "Ham" friend as well as a "personal" friend. Over the last two years we stayed in touch with phone calls (when we could) and found the funniest get well cards we could to send to him---Sharon said he so enjoyed those cards. We will miss Bill's friendship.

I worked with Bill for 11 years at the ARRL. He was a fine man, knowledgeable, conscientious, and caring. I was very sorry to hear about his passing. 73, OM

Bill was one of the "good guys" at ARRL. Always ready to help when he could. It was a pleasure to know him.

I have fond memories of talking radio with Bill at Huntsville and on a visit to Newington, where he took the time to have a welcome note for me on the lobby whiteboard. Thanks for the friendship and the fellowship, Bill.

I was saddened by the news of Bill's passing. I never met Bill in person but we shared an interest in amateur radio. My heartfelt condolences to the Moore family in this time of sorrow. George - KD4QMY
