Wilhelmina Hunt McDaniel

Wilhelmina Hunt McDaniel, 77 of Elizabethtown passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at her home. Mrs. McDaniel was born on September 20, 1937 to the late James Elmer and Inez Ward Hunt. She worked with Carolina Telephone Company for 35 years. She is preceded in death by her brother, James Elmer Hunt Jr. and her sister, Inez Thomas Smith. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 9, from 2:00 until 3:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home with the service to follow at 3:00pm with Rev. Scott Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Allen Cemetery. Wilhelmina is survived by her husband of 55 years, George H. McDaniel of the home; her daughter, Tina McDaniel and husband, Paul Sawyer of Clarkton; three grandchildren, Hunter L. Guyton; Tiffany G. Sasser, Erin E. Sawyer and a great granddaughter, Rylee White.
