Will George Tingue
November 22th 1935 to April 11th 2025
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Will George Tingue. He went to heaven on Friday, April 11th, 2025 at the age of 89 years.
He is survived by his loving wife Irene Tingue, his sisters Doris Pitt and Grace Tingue. He was preceded in death by his sister Polly Crandall, his brothers James Tinque and Pete Houston.
He was the beloved father of Daniel (Vickie) Tingue, Pamela (Jimmie) Stubblefield, Cheryl (William) Luzinski, Susan (Michael) Stoll, Kathleen (Mitch) Ansell, Bryon Schroeder, and Bruce (Kristina) Schroeder.
He was a proud grandfather to Connie, Jamie, Dawn, Jason, Angela, Jessica Marie, Samantha, Marie, Nicole, Emma, Jessica Lynn, Joshua, Ty, Samantha Irene. Further loved by 12 beautiful great grandchildren
Will had a full career. He had 32 years in the Armed Services. Starting at Age 19 in the Army and then into the Coast Guard Reserves, retiring as a Senior Chief. In 1957 he started the Police department as a patrolman and retired after 32 years as a detective and arson specialist. He then Moved onto Insurance as a Senior Special Investigator. He enjoyed his work and had a fondness for boats and loved his family.
He was a loving, caring husband, father and friend to all whose lives he touched. He will be missed.
We would like to give a special Thank you to the caring staff at St. Croix hospice and also to his home caregivers Gwen and Beverly for all the love and care they gave to him.
Visitation Wednesday April 30 at Harder Funeral Home from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 12:00 PM at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 18255 W. Capitol Drive. There will be a procession to Wisconsin Memorial Park for committal prayers and military honors.

Will, when you started your ' second career' at Milwaukee Insurance as Senior Special Investigator, it was a success from day one. You truly were class and professional at all times. Besides that, you were a good friend and truly a nice guy. Everyone who worked with you and knew you were better for having done so. Rest in peace, you've earned it.

Well was my cousin, as his mother, and mine were sisters! When he came up here to Wisconsin to relocate after his mother passed, he lived with us in Brookfield until he could get a job, and then have his own horn!
