Willa dedicated many years of her career to Thompson Consumer Electronics (RCA), where she served diligently, ultimately retiring from her role as group lead. Her passion for family was the cornerstone of her existence, driving her to create lasting memories.
Beyond her dedication to family, Willa enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. Willa was an avid reader and read several books a week. Her other hobbies included spending time with her grandchildren, visiting many parks and taking them to feed the ducks at Washington Park Cemetery. She had an appreciation for a cold beer and knew how to enjoy life to its fullest, often bringing joy to those around her.
In addition to her family and hobbies, Willa also demonstrated her commitment to the community through her participation as an auxiliary member of the local VFW 2999 embodying her spirit of service.
Willa is survived by sons Frederick Hooker Jr. (Cindy) and Jeffrey Hooker (Debbie), Grandchildren MacKenzie Stanton (Jackson), Madison Hedrick (Christian), Alan Hooker (Anna), Anna Hooker, Amber Moore, and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Reba Howard (Bob), Patty Coley (Tom), Debbie Carter (Bob), Mary Burke, Barbara Samons, and Sandy Mardini as well as many nieces and nephews.
Willa is preceded in death by husband Frederick Hooker, son Rodney Hooker, loving longtime companion Bill Bedwell, parents Lee Osborne and Virginia Burke, siblings Anna Sue Daniels, Shirley Kryzanski, Dallas Ray Osborne, Billy Osborne, and Robert Osborne.
Willa is remembered for her loving and kind personality, traits that infused her relationships with deep meaning. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire those she touched.
