Willa Ree Fowler Rabon Obituary

Mrs. Willa Ree Fowler Rabon, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at her daughter's home in Green Sea, SC. Born on September 16, 1948, in Loris, SC, she was the daughter of the late Warren William Fowler and the late Rosie Ella Causey Fowler. Mrs. Rabon loved her family deeply, had a special place in her heart for all children, and was a faithful member of Grassy Bay Baptist Church. She was a best friend to many and will be remembered for her kindness and caring heart.
Survivors include her loving husband, W. E. Spivey, Jr.; daughter, Sheila R. Turner (Coleman); brother, Eldred Fowler; sister, Bonnell Norris (Ronald); special nephew, Christopher Norris; special friend and caregiver, Julia Smiley, and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rabon was predeceased by her brothers, Billy Gene Fowler, and Edward Fowler; sisters, Donna Lynn Fowler Owens, and Rose Marie Buffkin, and nephew, Liam Norris.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt "Thank You" to Sarah Gause and McLeod Hospice for their compassionate care during this difficult time.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 14, 2025, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Pastor Mike Key officiating. Committal services will follow at Twin City Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM, prior to services, at Hardwick Funeral Home. The family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
