HORSESHOE BAY, TX - Willamae Harber of Horseshoe Bay by way of Odessa passed away September 7, 2025.

Willamae was born in Vilonia, AR to Grace & James Frazier on August 13, 1938. She married her husband Jimmie Harber on June 1, 1956.

Willamae was a talented and passionate florist; she spent much of her life creating beautiful arrangements that reflected her gentle spirit and artistic soul. Being in the floral business was a place of warmth, creativity, and community for her. When she wasn't helping others celebrate life's special moments with flowers, Naner loved to play golf. She and Jim would go somewhere every year and play a different course. Card nights with family and friends were among her favorite pastimes. Whether it was bridge, rummy, or a simple game of Phase 10 with her grandkids and their friends, Naner played with a twinkle in her eye and a laugh that made everyone feel welcome.

Willamae was a constant presence in the lives of family. She was more than a mom or grandmother. Naner was a steady hand in the lives of her family. Whether it was picking up grandkids from school and getting ice cream, late night baseball games, weekend recitals or other activities, Naner never missed a moment and was always in attendance rain or shine. Naner had a deep love for life's simple joys-especially the joy of watching friends and family grow and thrive, often keeping up with their milestones and memories through Facebook. A devoted fan of sports and the Game Show Network, she could always be found shouting at her favorite teams on the tv and yelling answers hoping contestants could hear her. She had passion for being in the kitchen, where she found happiness in baking and sharing meals that brought people together. Willamae will be remembered for her generous spirit, warm heart, and the way she stayed connected to the people she loved the most.

Willamae is preceded in death by her father James Frazier, mother Grace Frazier, husband Jimmie Harber, and daughter Denise Wheeler.

Willamae is survived by her son-in-law Michael Wheeler, grandchildren Russell Wheeler and his wife Amy, Alanea Harman, and her husband Douglas. She had three great grandchildren, Brooks, Beckett, and Finley.

Graveside service will be held Saturday November 29th at 11:00am at Sunset Memorial Gardens at 6801 E I 20 Odessa, TX.

So sorry for your loss. She was such a strong tough woman... but once she liked you she was always there and always a smile. So many hugs for all of you.
