Willard G. Stark

July 21, 1943 - March 5, 2026

Willard "Bill" G. Stark, 82, of Silvis passed peacefully Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Mercy One Genesis Illini Campus.

Bill was born July 21, 1943 in Davenport, Iowa the son of Bernol and Julia Hall Stark. He married Cindy Kincaid January 2, 2004 in Rock Island. Bill worked in sales and was a volunteer and past Assistant Chief of the Carbon Cliff Fire Department. He enjoyed playing cribbage-challenge do you want to lose?, camping and sitting by the fire telling stories, traveling, fishing, and was an avid NASCAR fan. If it could be raced, he was a fan of it.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy; children, Odetta Frommelt, Garry (Kristi) Stark, and Aaron (Adrienne) Stark; stepsons, Shane Leonard and Jacob Leonard; several grandchildren; mother-in-law, Barbara Kincaid; sister-in-law, Lori (Steve) Possley; brother-in-law, Todd (Tracy) Kincaid; and several nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; great-grandson, Owen Stark; siblings, Sharon, Cecelia, Shirley, and Joan; father-in-law, Bradley Kincaid; and son-in-law, Cory Frommelt.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
