Willard Speer Obituary
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Carolyn Speer; 2 children, Jeffery Willard Speer (Diana), Melissa Mason (Curtis); his grandchildren, Anthony Kirk Speer (Audrey), Adrianne Spalding; great-grandchildren, Callie and Casey Speer; brother, Mark Speer (Patricia).
He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Brad Speer.
Oliver was known as a very hard worker. He owned and operated the Farmers Market in Bald Knob from 1969-1985 and, soon after, owned Speer's RV Sales until 2023. He took pride in caring for his place and was known for helping anyone in need. On the first Tuesday of every month you could find him and his old football buddies, known as the "Old Jock's Club", at the Market Café having their monthly meeting. Oliver was a member of the Church of Christ in Kensett, Arkansas.
Services will be conducted on Monday, January 5, 2026 at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Bald Knob. Visitation will precede services, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Bald Knob, Arkansas.
