William Alexander Obituary
Age 88, of Brookline, on Tuesday, August 15, 2023. Beloved husband for 62 years to the late Margaret (Weigold) Alexander. Dear father of William M. (Debby) Alexander, Kathleen Alexander, Thomas (Michelle) Alexander, Daniel (Emily) Alexander, and Peggy (Bill) Maxwell. Loving grandfather of ten; one great-granddaughter and one more on the way. Brother of Mary "Babe" Taylor, and Robert (Theresa) Alexander. Also, several nieces and nephews.
Bill was an Army Paratrooper during the Korean War. He was a Pittsburgh Police Office for 30 years and Court Lead CEO at the Federal Court House for 24 years. Bill was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle and will be missed. Family and friends are welcome Friday, 2-4 and 6-8 PM, WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp., 15220 (412-563-2800). Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM, Saturday, in St. Pius the X Church, St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
