Bill Arnold, born in Bartow, Florida on August 30th, 1955, now age 70, passed away on February 5th 2026, leaving behind a legacy of quiet strength, loyalty, and love for his family and friends. Bill lived a life defined not by grand gestures, but by showing up, doing what needed to be done, and caring deeply for the people around him.
Bill proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for six years, between 1974 - 1980; an experience and commitment that shaped his values and sense of duties and responsibility for the rest of his life. He carried the discipline, resilience, and humility of a Marine into everything he did, never seeking recognition, but always earning respect.
After his service, Bill devoted himself to providing for his family. He was a hard worker who believed in earning his way and taking care of his own. Above all else, he was a devoted father to his two sons, whom he loved fiercely and taught by example – less through words and more through actions. He was also immensely proud to be a grandfather to his two grandchildren, finding joy in watching them grow, learn, and play and knowing that part of him would live on through them.
Bill found happiness in the simple things. He loved the outdoors and was most at peace watching birds, fishing or hunting, often happy just being out in nature. He cherished time spent with friends, sharing stories, laughter, and often a drink. He was known for his steady presence and easy going nature. Bill wasn’t a loud or flashy man, but he was dependable, genuine, and real – the kind of man people trusted and were glad to have beside them.
Those who knew Bill knew him as a man of very few words but deep character. He valued honesty, loyalty, and hard work. He lived humbly, asked for little, and gave more than he ever realized. His absence will be felt deeply, but his influence will remain in the lives he touched and the values he passed on.
Bill is survived by his two sons, Clay and Daniel Arnold, his two beloved grandchildren, Vanessa and Vincent Arnold, and many friends and family members who will miss him dearly. In keeping with Bill’s spirit, his family and friends are encouraged to remember him not with sorrow alone, but with stories, laughter, and the appreciation for a life well lived.
