William "Willie" Ayala, of North Arlington, NJ passed away after a brave battle with cancer, surrounded in love by his wife, Jeanne, his son, Willie J., and his entire family. He was born and raised in Jersey City and had made North Arlington his home since 2000.

Willie worked for Pritchard Industries and was a proud and dedicated member of Local #32BJ Window Washers Union of New York City, where he served diligently up until this past month when his illness made it no longer possible. Known for his strong work ethic and unwavering loyalty, he formed lasting bonds with colleagues and friends throughout his many years of service. A man who loved deeply and lived with passion, Willie treasured time spent with family and friends. He was a devoted Raiders fan, cheering for his team through every season. He took great pride in his 1990 Mustang GT and was well known for the meticulous care he gave to his lawn-nurturing his grass with patience and, precision. Taking joy in maintaining a beautiful green space. Willie also adored his pets, Teddy and Oakley, who brought him constant comfort and companionship.

Willie is predeceased by his father, William Sr., and his brother, Tony Ayala. He is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years-celebrated this past November 11th-Jeanne (Scarpa) ; his loving son, Willie J.,his mother, Irma (Solivan); his dear sister, Yvette Scarpa and her husband, Michael; and his brother, Joseph Ayala. He is also survived by his aunt and uncle, Evelyn and Eladio Torres; his father-in-law, John "Rocco" Scarpa; his brother-in-law, Richard Ciappa; his niece; Elyse Ciappa Montiel and her husband Rick; his nephew Christopher, his goddaughter, Sofia ; great-niece and nephew, Gunnar and Lexi; and many friends who will forever hold his memory close.

Willie's family encourages all to get screened for colorectal cancer, a cause now deeply close to their hearts.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc. 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 from 4 PM - 8 PM. All will gather at the funeral home on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at 8:30 AM, then to Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington where at 10AM a funeral mass will be offered. Entombment, Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers please donate in William's memory to Colorectal Cancer Alliance online by clicking here.. You may express condolences to Willie's family by using our tribute wall.
