William Bill Baiocchi

Bill and I went to grade and high school together. In the sixth grade we were seated directly in front of Mr. Clark's desk. While he was trying to conduct a math class, Bill and I were goofing off. Mr. Clark came over the top of his desk and shattered a 3/4" square yardstick over his head. Mr. Clark then instructed Bill to go home and tell his father what he did to him. The next day Bill reported that his father asked Mr. Clark to come to his hardware store the next time he was going to hit him and he would give him a 2X4. Those were the times back then. But Bill and I still laughed about it as even as recently at our high school's 60th class reunion. He was a great guy and will be sincerely missed by all of us who were fortunate to know him.
