William Baker Obituary
A small family service for William Earl "Bill" Baker was held on November 20, 2025, at the Dogwood Cemetery Mausoleum,
Mr. Baker, who died on November 8, 2025, at age 95, was a decorated Korean War veteran who served in the US Army artillery. He was a successful businessman in Blytheville, Arkansas, where he owned County Auto Body and also served as a deputy sheriff. A talented musician who played several instruments by ear, Bill loved spending time with his family playing music, singing, and telling stories.
He was preceded in death by his parents, six siblings, first wife, Lillie Mae Haygood Baker and son, Jefferey Baker. He is survived by his children Karen Smith (Barry), Doris Stalion (Mike), Steven Baker (Lois), and Tim Baker (Sandi), seven grandchildren, numerous great and great-great-grandchildren, and his sister Shirley Baker Neil. Rest in peace, Dad.
