William E Baldiga

William E. Baldiga, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 20, 2025, in Worcester. He was born on August 24, 1942, in Milford.
William shared an extraordinary bond with his loving wife, Lorena M. Baldiga (Murch), to whom he was married for 60 years. Together, they built a life filled with joy, laughter, and countless cherished moments.
A devoted father, William is survived by his sons, Steven T. Baldiga and his wife Karen of New Hampshire, and Jason W. Baldiga and his wife Kristy of Canton. His legacy continues through his adored grandchildren, Connor, Emily, Harmony, Ava, Kaela, Brody, and Colton, who brought immense joy and pride to his life.
William was a beloved sibling to Robert Baldiga and his wife Lois of Mendon, Norma Soderstrom of Virginia, and June Cook and her husband Thomas of Mendon. He was also a dear cousin to Janet Robidoux and Patty Hutnick, both of Rhode Island. Predeceased by his parents, Stanley J. and Lucille (Boudreau) Baldiga, William's memory will forever be honored by his family.
Before becoming a dedicated family man, William had a passion for racing cars, a hobby that reflected his spirited and adventurous nature. He was a legend on the local racing circuit in his #31 Chevelle. Even after he hung up his racing gloves, his love for sports never waned. He could often be found on the sidelines, cheering on his children and later his grandchildren, as they played various sports, often carrying on the #31 tradition. His encouragement and presence at their games were a testament to his unwavering support and love.
A Celebration of life will be held in the Spring.
