William Ball

BALL, William B. - Age 83, of Flint, died Monday, January 12, 2009 at McLaren Regional Medical Center.  Cremation has taken place and no services will be held.  Mr. Ball was born October 24, 1925 in Flint, the son of Harrison and Christina (Bruce) Ball.  He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Navy and then was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army.  Mr. Ball retired from GM after 35 years of service.  He was a member of U.A.W. Local 659 and the V.F.W. Chevrolet Post #3087.  Surviving are: 2 children, Terrance Ball and wife Diane of Clio and Barbara Gean Parrott and husband Bill Fagan of Brown City; 5 grandchildren, Dale Barnhart, William Barnhart, Tina Burns, Terrance Ball II and Brian Ball; 10 great grandchildren, Kelsey Barnhart, Dale Barnhart, Jacob Barnhart, Zac Barnhart, Christian Barnhart, Cody Barnhart, Hannah Barnhart, Ramses Hassan, Aten Hassan and Dailynn Ball; 2 sisters, Mary Scukance and Alice Pagel; He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers, Donald, Charles and David Ball.  Tributes may be posted at the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
