William Dean "Bill" Bayless

Bill quickly became a comrade in arms for dry, thoughtful wit. His additions to our book group were deep and meaningful. His questions always had multiple answers; one never knew which response was the correct one. The fig tree that he cultivated for us will always be a special addition to our garden, reminding us daily of his presence and his generosity. Bill was our dependable friend, filled with intelligence and understanding. He will be sorrowfully missed. RIP my good man.
