William H. Beachy, 61, of Dover, Delaware passed away September 8, 2025 at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennnsylvania after a brief illness.

He was born January 13, 1964 in Dover, Delaware, the son of the late Henry D. and Sylvia D. (Byler) Beachy. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Arlene, the daughter of the late Harry A. and Lizzie Ann (Schrock) Yoder; two brothers, Lester H. Beachy of Dover, Del, and Alton

H. (Susan) Beachy of Clayton, Del, and one sister Lena M. (Daniel) Kropf of Westcliffe, Colorado; three nephews and one niece, Matthew A., Michael A., J. Daniel and Rebecca S. Beachy, the children of Alton and Susan; as well as many uncles, aunts, and cousins, and innumerable friends.

He was a graduate of Mendenhall School of Auctioneering, was known for his auctioneering and story-telling, and never met a stranger.

Visitation and service will be at Central Mennonite Church, 220 W. Denneys Road, Dover, Delaware. Visitation will be Friday, September 12, 2025 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Service will be Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.. Burial to follow in adjoining cemetery.

So sorry Arlene! We love you and want you to know that we care! We'll miss Bill and his antics! Known around as the "Crying Dutchman" he was certainly very good at what he loved.... Auctioneering.
His stories and jokes were always the highlight of any kind of gathering.
