BEAL, William G. – of Burton, MI formerly of Waterford, MI, age, 96, passed away on November 10, 2025. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Joel Close officiating. Private interment will take place in White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, MI at a later date. The family will receive visitors 4-7 PM on Friday, November 14, 2025, and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
William G. Beal was born in Highland Park, MI on August 24, 1929, son of the late Harrison and Phoebe (Hoover) Beal. He married Mary Anne Phelan on July 9, 1949, and she preceded him in death on June 18, 2009. For a large part of Bill's career he worked for Sebold and Kage as a general contractor, then he started his own company Beal Construction Service, LLC as a construction manager. He was active with Lake Oakland Heights Assoc., serving as president for many years. After moving to Burton, he also served as president of Cross Creek Homeowners Assoc. Bill was also an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hunting, golf, and cross-country skiing. He was fun loving, great dancer and was loved by all who knew him. His greatest achievement was his title of "Husband", "Father" and "Grandfather" to his family.
William is survived by his children, Kathleen (William) Burns, Lynda Beal, Steven (Beverly) Beal, Nancy Essiambre, Kenneth Beal and Christopher (Edie) Beal; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild, with one on the way in December; In addition to his parents and his beloved wife, Mary Anne, William was preceded in death by his son, William (the late Karen) Beal, Jr.; cherished grandson, Nicholas Glen Beal; and 6 siblings.
