William G. Beck, 84 of Canton, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at UPMC in Williamsport. William was born January 27, 1941, in Roaring Branch, PA, a son of the late Willard and M. Elizabeth (Sechrist) Beck. He attended Liberty High School and was a graduate of the class of 1958. On August 4, 1984, Bill married the former Phyllis Storrs, in Troy, PA. Together they shared 41 years of marriage. Bill was employed as an over the road truck driver and then for PennDot until his retirement in March of 2003. He was a member of the Grover Church of Christ.
Bill was an avid wood worker, and he enjoyed bowling and playing pool.

Bill leaves behind wife Phyllis, at home, Children Sherry (Mike) VanHorn,

William H. Beck of Minersville, Janette (John) Walters. Stepchildren Joy Case (Nate deceased), Debbie (Randy) Hickok, Harry (June) Ayres, Terry Ayres, he has several grandchildren, and great grandchildren, from both his children and Phyllis's children, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins

He is also survived by siblings, Helen Antes, George (Florence) Beck, Harry (Virginia) Beck, Brother and sister-in-law Bob and Shirley Rathbun, sister-in-law Carola Storrs.

He was predeceased by his siblings, Carl Beck, Russell Beck, Catherine

Fulmer, Hartford Beck and Mary Messner, and brothers-in-law, Howard Antes, Bob Fulmer, Charles Messner and Charles Storrs, and a sister-in-law Alice Beck.

A celebration of life will be held at the Grover Church of Christ on January 27, 2026, at 2 pm. Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Drive in Canton is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mr. Beck's name may be directed to a charity of one's choice.
