I enjoyed talking with Bill. He and I had a lot in common. We both did crane repair and anything else. We both did a lot of welding. He was a great friend and lots of fun to be with. God bless him and his family. I am surely going to miss Bill. In 2016 it was a great honor to received Bill Beebe award. I will always have Bill in my prayers.

Bill was a wonderful neighbor and friend. He brought so many other wonderful people into our lives and eventually became the adoptive Grandfather to Bailey. He always seemed to be smiling and loved to share stories...and he had great ones! Sending our heartfelt condolences and know that we are so grateful that you and your wonderful family found your way into our lives.

He was a good dad, grandpa and great grandfather . He is missed dearly by his family. He favorite hobby was being a HAM Radio operator. Many years of being on the road being a welder and diesel mechanic was what he knew since he was a young man. During that time he made lots of friends, I heard lots of stories and now he can finally rest with no pain Love you dad ❤

Bill, KB1EOF was always there to help and he had some good stories too.
In 2014 no one in East Rock had experience with digital communications for the Red Cross Drill.
Bill came down and helped us support the Pease Mass Casualty Drill, by providing a digital network.
That’s the way Bill was. If there was a need, he found a way to help.
Whether it was a bike fund raiser, a 5 K run or helping the Red Cross you could count on KB1 Echo Oscar Foxtrot.
Bill received an Award for his service, at the 2014 Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) Academy.
