William Beegle Obituary

William "Bill" Jacob Beegle, 101, a longtime resident of Blairstown, NJ, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025. Bill was born to Floyd Elias and Grace Isabel (Webbe) Beegle in Blairstown on May 12, 1924. He was a graduate of Blairstown High School class of 1943. He served in WWII with the US Army Air Corps as a Second Lieutenant piloting a B-17 bomber. He married classmate Elizabeth "Betty" Latteman on March 18, 1945. Together they raised four children: William (wife Kathe), Jeffery (wife Jeanne), Donna (late husband Eugene), Christine. Bill was a master mason and contractor building many structures throughout Warren County and the region. He worked at Hoffmann La Roche in Belvidere as a chemical operator before retiring. He is survived by his children, sister Ellen "Honey" Costa, nine grandchildren and their spouses, fifteen great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife of 78.5 years, parents, and five siblings. There will be a visitation on October 9, from 10-12PM, with a service at 12PM. Interment will follow at Belvidere Cemetery, Belvidere, NJ. To see more information visit www.newbaker.com.
