Bill Bell, 76, Avondale, MO, passed away Sat., Nov. 5, 2011 at Ashton Court Care Center, Liberty, MO, after a long battle with Parkinson's. Bill was born Sept. 12, 1935, in Fortville, IN to Ralph and Lucille Bell. He married Dorothy L. Mallicoat on Nov. 12, 1954 in Richmond, MO. Bill was a truck driver for Campbell's 66 and NKC Transfer until his retirement. He was Troop Leader for Boy Scout Troop 304, a former judge, and a volunteer firefighter and police officer for the City of Avondale. His wife, his parents, his daughter Janie, a brother and a sister, and an infant grandson, preceded him in death. He is survived by, his son, Donnie (Vicki) Bell and his daughter, Kim (Chad) Parker; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Midge Hess and Sandy McCann of KC, MO, Connie Hankins and Sue Jones of Indianapolis, IN; his sister-in-law Lola Seuferling of Louisburg, KS, and many nieces and nephews. At Bill's request, there will be no services. There will be a visitation on Monday, November 7, from 6-8 pm at White Chapel Funeral Home. Cremation to follow.
