William Bennett Obituary
He was born to William F. Bennett, Sr and Carolyn Burton Bennett in Kingsport, Tennessee on December 16, 1956. Billy is survived by his sisters Beverly Bennett Maclin (Mac), Carol Bennett Brown: his brother John H. Bennett (Jane); nieces Katie Maclin Deppe (Ross), Carrie Brown and Lillian Bennett; nephews William J. Bennett (Abby) and Matthew B. Bennett (Maddie); one great niece and two great nephews.
Billy was the first resident at Cedar Lake Lodge, in LaGrange, Ky, in 1974. This was Billy's home where he lived a very happy and fulfilling life. He was known as "Mr. Cedar Lake". The staff and residents at Cedar Lake were truly his second family. The Bennett family will always be grateful for the devoted and loving care he received.
A private service will be held at Cedar Lake Lodge.
Memorial gifts can be made to Cedar Lake Lodge (9901 Linn Station Road Suite #901, Louisville, KY 40223) in memory of Billy.
