William Bennington Obituary
He was known for his love of the outdoors and great story telling. He was a devoted husband to wife, Brenda, who preceded him in death. He proudly served in the Navy from 1966 to 1972.
Bill is survived by his 3 children: Misty Richart, Ryan (Sharon) Bennington, and Stacy (Kenny) Dudley. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife and 2 grandchildren, Johnnie Richart and Bradley Bennington.
Bill will be laid to rest next to his wife in a private family ceremony in West Virginia.

Bill was a very pleasant man to know . He took us under his wing help us as he was able to do so . Bill was a very loving man . He loved his country and was proud Navy Veteran . He will be sadly missed amongst his friends and family . The heavens really got yet another Angel to look down on us and guide us in the right direction . Love you Bill !

I met Bill and Brenda back in 1981. They were my first friends in Indiana and they welcomed me with open arms and treated me like family.My fondest memory of Bill is when he and Brenda were dancing together and I can only imagine them being reunited and dancing together in heaven. He was a great man.My sincerest condolences to the entire Bennington family.
