William James Bernecky Jr.

William (Bill) James Bernecky, Jr., 49, of Woodstock, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016 in Woodstock, Georgia. Celebration of Life will be at 1:00pm on Wednesday, October 19th at Woodstock Funeral Home. Bill was born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania to Louise Bernecky-Croft and William James Bernecky, Sr. on March 23, 1967. He married Dianna Jean Thomas on September 11, 1989 in Canton, Georgia. He worked as a head mechanic for 27 years, most recently at Atlanta National Golf Club. Bill is preceded in death by his father, William James Bernecky, Sr. Bill is survived by his wife of 27 years, Dianna Bernecky, of Woodstock, Georgia; his two children, Jaclyn Diane Castleberry, of Cleveland, Tennessee, and William (Billy) James Bernecky III, of Woodstock, Georgia; his siblings, Susan Seiders, of Neeses, South Carolina, Jamey Bernecky, of Mt. Crohgan, South Carolina, and Frank Bernecky, of Kane, Pennsylvania; his mother, Louise Bernecky-Croft, of Neeses, South Carolina; his grandchildren, Marcus Castleberry, Eli Castleberry, Layson Bernecky, and Alexis Castleberry.The family of Bill Bernecky wishes to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who has supported us through this journey.
