William A. Bertholf

William A Bertholf, of Alva, Florida, passed away on April 16, 2018. He was born in Lyon, France on February 25, 1926. Bill came to the United States in his first year of life and was raised in Prospectville, PA where he remained for almost 89 years. He is survived by his wife, Dorothea M. Bertholf. Bill was blessed with 8 children, 18 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren. He spent his professional years with his own insurance agency as a Certified Insurance Councilor and agent. He was also an active member of Rotary International for 45 years. Bill loved his family and he loved life. He was the most gentle and kind soul ever to grace this earth. Relatives and friends will be received by his family on Saturday, April 28, 2018 after 10:00 am until his funeral service at 11:00 am in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro. His interment with follow in the Gwynedd Friends Meeting House Cemetery.
