William “Bill” Edward Billits, age 77 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024 at his residence.
Bill was born on May 14, 1947 in Graysville, AL, the son of the late Albert Jerome Billits and Gladys Irene Brasfield Billits. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Taylor. Bill was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Air Force. Before his retirement, he worked as an accountant for Dalton Die Cutting Services. He was a member of Heritage Baptist Church. Bill was an avid golfer and enjoyed listening to music.
Bill is survived by: his wife, Rebecca Clifton Billits of Calhoun, GA; and sister, Glenda Yarbrough of Jasper, GA.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Georgia National Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Robins Air Force Base Honor Guard.
