William “Bill” H. Critzman Jr., of Glen Burnie, Maryland, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on July 22, 1954, in Baltimore, he spent his life in Pasadena and Glen Burnie, the communities he called home.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William H. Critzman and Janice C. Critzman (nee Hooper). He is survived by his sister, Juanita L. Gosper, and by his children, Reverend William Critzman and his husband, Patrick Willingham, and Christopher M. Critzman and his wife, Meghan. Bill was a proud grandfather to Luke and Cole.
Bill’s life took a meaningful turn when he remarried later in life to Diane Jurmu Critzman, who remained by his side. He is also survived by Diane’s daughter, Stacey Paugh, and her husband, Eric.
Bill is also survived by close cousins, nieces, and nephews who loved him dearly.
A lifelong member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Glen Burnie, Bill’s connection to his church was an important part of his life.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday, December 17, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services. A service will be held on Thursday, December 18, at 12:30 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Glen Burnie, followed by burial at Glen Haven Cemetery.
Donations in Bill’s memory may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake.
