William C. “Bill” Dicke, 71, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024 with his beloved wife by his side, following a three-year battle with heart and lung diseases brought on by COVID-19.

Bill was born in Sheboygan on January 11, 1953, the second of four sons to Donald and Elaine (Arnst) Dicke. He graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1971 and spent 42 years working at Borden, Inc. (Dairy Farmers of America), retiring in 2015. Many will fondly remember Bill as the smiling weekend waiter at Richard’s Fine Dining in Sheboygan Falls.

In 1980, Bill married Christine Hiller, and together they raised three daughters—the loves of his life. In 2002, Bill married Susan (Rautmann), his best friend, true love, and Earth angel, who lovingly cared for him and his many needs during his final journey in life.

Bill was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, where he served faithfully as an usher for many years, loved his time in the bell choir, and found great joy in delivering home communion to homebound members of the congregation. He cherished his community of Sheboygan Falls, where he served as an alderman and dedicated his time to the Sheboygan Falls Park Board. He was an avid Brewers fan and loved going to games with Sue. He enjoyed reading, solving jigsaw puzzles, and cultivating his backyard oasis with Sue. He was especially proud of being featured in the Sheboygan County Garden Walk in 2018.

Bill is survived by his wife, Susan; three daughters: Kimberly (Kevin) Mitschke of Sussex, Andrea (Calvin) Srock of Mequon, and Kathryn “Kitty” (Keith) Brzozowski of Waukesha; and four grandchildren: Marlowe and Ruby Srock, and Bennett “Benny” and Henry Mitschke. He is also survived by his stepmother, Pauline Dicke; brothers Robert (Elena) Dicke, Peter (Charlene) Dicke, and David Dicke; sisters-in-laws Shirley Spindler and Darlene (David) Conrad; brother-in-law Glenn Spindler; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Elaine Dicke; his grandparents; his sister-in-law Karen Spindler; and his brother-in-law Norman Spindler.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00PM on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls, officiated by Pastor Kyle Backhaus. A livestream of the service will be available on Bill’s obituary page at www.wenigfh.com. The family will receive visitors at the church on Wednesday from 11:00AM-1:00PM.

Bill will be laid to rest at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated for the Sheboygan Falls Park Board and the St. Paul Gathering Place.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the respiratory care team, staff, nurses, and doctors at Aurora Medical Center in Sheboygan and Aurora Home Health Services for their supportive care and an extra special thank you to smiley Katie H, for her compassion.
