William "Bill" Moore, Jr. Obituary
William “Bill” Nelson Moore, Jr, 45, of Smithfield passed away on Thursday April 18, 2024. He was the son of Olivia Stallings Hilliard and the late William N. Moore, Sr. He is survived by his brothers, Jason Moore (Morgan), Earl Edwards (Laura) and Andy Edwards; nieces and nephews, Harrison Moore, Blair Moore, Dylan Edwards, Cohen Edwards and Holt Edwards; and his step mother, Deane Moore.
Bill graduated from Smithfield High School in 1998. He was an Eagle Scout; he touched the lives of many of those around him with his kindness, compassion and generosity and was always willing to lend a helping hand. His memory will be cherished by friends and family. We find solace in knowing that he is now in peace and reunited with his loved ones who have gone before him.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, 5 p.m. at Little’s Funeral Home, Smithfield. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home. Online condolences may be registered at www.littlesfuneralhome.com.
