Mr. William Calvin “Bill” Mosier, age 69 of Mentone, Alabama passed away unexpectedly Thursday, December 31, 2025.
Mr. Mosier was born in Summerville, Georgia on August 12, 1956, son of the late Alfred Francis Mosier and Syble Nell Scoggins Mosier. He was a retired veteran of the United States Army, where he was a watercraft operator. Mr. Mosier was very active in DAV, Disabled Veterans, while living in Virginia. He enjoyed yard work and being outside.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Mosier was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Ron Parkman and James “Pat” Pledger; and two nephews, Kyle Pledger and Brad Parkman.
Mr. Mosier is survived by his wife, Charlotte Mosier; sons and daughters-in-law, Toby and Diane Mosier, Chris Mosier, Alex Mosier and Charles “Chuck” and Nicole Huntley; Daughters and son-in-law, Christina Coon and Cecelia and Ed Lemming; sisters, Shirley Pledger and Gail Parkman; good friends, Phil and Kim McGuire; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Private Graveside and Interment Services for Mr. Mosier will be held Wednesday in the Family Plot of Green Hills Memory Gardens with Mr. Charles Frazier and Mr. Phil McGuire officiating. Full Military Honors will be provided by the United States Army Honor Guard.
