William "Bill" Phillips

William Edward Allen Phillips was born January 17th, 1971 in Pryor, OK to William Lee Phillips and Betty Jo Elliott. He passed from this life on August 15, 2024 at 2:00 A.M. at the age of 53 at home surrounded by loved ones.

Bill worked at many jobs over the years. He was a hard worker and a good teammate at each place of employment. Bill was a stalwart champion and defender of his family and friends. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle. Above all he was an honorable, honest man who continually tried to inspire others and improve himself. Bill fought a long, hard battle against the cancer that took his life, never asking for pity, or complaining.

Bill is survived by his mother, Betty Jo Hodson of Pryor, his brothers, Christopher Phillips of Pryor, Timothy Hodson and Wife Sarah of Clovis, NM, His sisters Cori Anderson and husband Adam of Pryor, Tammie Hodson of Pryor, Sharla Hodson of Rudy, AR, Brandy Spencer and husband Sonny of Rudy, AR, Kristi Siam and husband Shawn of Locust Grove ; step father, Charles Hodson of Pryor, OK and fifteen nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews as well as his faithful dog, Augustina.

He was preceded in death by his father William Lee Phillips, grandparents Jewel Williams, Emma Jean and Leon Waymire, Eddie Phillips, Uncle Steven Husband and cousin Heath Elliott.
