William "Bill" George Snyder

William George "Bill" Snyder, age 86, of White Bear Lake, formerly of Newport, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025. 

Bill married Maggie Hoffman on September 14, 1957 at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament in St. Paul, MN. He spent his life working at the oil refinery in the maintenance department. He enjoyed playing cards, crossword puzzles, avid Twins fan, camping, gardening with Maggie, and time spent with family. 

Bill is survived by sons, Mike (Sue) and Andy (Sue); grandchildren, Jason, Sarah, David (Danielle), Justin (Ashley), Bejamin (Erica), Sarah (fiance, Michael), Joseph (Sarah), and Amanda (Jonathan); nine great-grandchildren; and other extended family and friends. 

He is preceded in death by wife, Margaret "Maggie"; son, Bill; parents, George and Hildegard; and sisters, Ollie, Georgeann, and Bernadine.

A Memorial Mass will be held for Bill on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (920 Holley Ave, St. Paul Park, MN, 55071) at 11 AM with a visitation beginning at 10 AM. Burial will follow immediately after the service St. Thomas Aquinas Parish Cemetery. All are invited to a luncheon after the burial.
