William “Bill” Paul Tuttle, aged 73, of Bradenton, Florida, died on December 30, 2025, at Tidewell Hospice in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.
Born on September 3, 1952, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, he was the son of Keith Rollin Tuttle and Ruby Anna (Marquardt) Tuttle. He graduated from St. Louis Park High School in 1970, The University of Minnesota in 1977, and the Graduate School of Banking in 1987. He was married to Nancy Maria (Galler) Tuttle on October 13, 1984, in Waseca, Minnesota.
Bill began his banking career in the Twin Cities and Brainerd Lakes areas, before relocating to Waseca, Minnesota. He was a commercial banker in Waseca for over 30 years, helping numerous clients start and grow their businesses. He was a passionate volunteer in Waseca and the surrounding area, having served as President or Treasurer on most of the dozens of Boards he served. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Award and the Don Eustice Award from the community of Waseca and was proudly selected as one of the Ten Outstanding Young Minnesotans in 1990. Upon retirement from banking, he began a career in real estate investment, forming many successful partnerships with trusted business associates. He was very personable and an excellent judge of character, which contributed to his success in his careers and in his personal relationships. After relocating to Florida, he served on committees within his neighborhood and as President and Treasurer of the Suntide Island Beach Club, a place he considered to be “paradise”. Bill enjoyed golfing, hunting, and annual fishing trips to Canada. He especially enjoyed his annual road trips to the mountains, family vacations across the United States, and vacationing in Florida. Before moving to Florida, he was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and later attended Grace Community Church in Lakewood Ranch, FL. He was a faithful man and was most proud of being “Dad” and “Papa Tuttle” to his kids and grandkids.
Bill is survived by Nancy Tuttle, his wife of 41 years; his daughter, Sophia (Alex) Cherwinka and their children, Harrison, Piper and Miles, of Inver Grove Heights, MN; his son, Keith Gordon Tuttle, of Boise, ID; mother-in-law Dianne Galler of Elysian, MN, brothers-in-law Frank Galler of Elysian, MN and Mike Galler of Madison Lake, MN; sisters-in-law Theresa Galler of Lakeville, MN and Maragaret “Meg” Galler of Huntersville, NC; brother-in-law, Robert Horn, of Woodbury, MN; and several nieces and nephews.
