William “Billy” Washington Scott was born on November 17, 1976, in Omaha, Nebraska to Irvin and Shirley (Collins) Scott. He grew up in Tucson, Arizona and attended school there. After school he worked at Burger King.
Billy was known for his easygoing nature, love of music and the joy he found in spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed karaoke nights and listening to his favorite artist, Insane Clown Posse. Billy will be remembered for his unique spirit, his sense of humor and the warmth he brought to those around him.
Billy died on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, in Logan, Iowa at the age of 49 years and 15 days.
Billy was preceded in death by his grandparents, father and brother. He survived by his mother, Shirley Scott; sisters, Michelle (Jim) Berry, Thana (Robert) Hanna and Deborah Ecker; brothers, Steve Ecker and Irvin “Buck” Scott; and several nieces and nephews.
