I knew Bill for over 40 years. We shared a similar sense of humor and often said things that we got but no one else did. I met Bill when I was 25. He helped me with my poker skills and also introduced me to several good business contacts. I think of him often and use a lot of his lines everyday. I am keeping them alive and hope someone else will when I am gone. Everyone who knew him has lost a great friend.

Few people have that rare ability to be a total blessing to those they come in contact with. Bill's courage, tempered by his wisdom and compassion made him a special individual, someone I'll never forget.

Dear Shirley and all of Bill's family sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He was a very intelligent, thoughtful, funny guy. Shirley and Bill had a love for each other that was inspirational. May there be peace in knowing he is now in God's loving care. My prayers and thoughts to her and his family.
