William Blankenship Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of William Michael Blankenship on August 22, 2024. Michael was born on December 13, 1973, to parents, William and Patricia Blankenship, in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Michael graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, furthered his education, and received his master's in business at Peoples University. In the Year 1996, he married the love of his life Melina Adara Blankenship on March 9, 1996, and they were married for 28 years. He worked throughout the years in engineering management, real estate, with Johnson Control, real estate with Century 21, and as an investor.
Michael was a Southern Baptist, he shared his faith through scripture. He enjoyed being outdoors and computers.
Michael is preceded in death by his father, William A. Blankenship; sister, Adria; brother, Jonathon.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Melina Adara Blankenship; son, William Benjamin Blankenship; mother, Patricia Blankenship; siblings, Gregory (Bridgett) Blankenship, Philip (Ashley) Blankenship, and Andrew (Kristie) Blankenship; eight nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass.
