William Brawner Obituary
He was born in Elizabethtown to Owen F. and Zuba Glendena Slinker Brawner. He worked Civil Service at Fort Knox. He loved helping other people. Bill was a member of the Upton Masonic Lodge 749 F&AM and the Shrines as well as the Yorkrite and the Eastern Star that he was a passed Grand Patron of Kentucky. Also he was a passed master of the Upton Lodge..
He was preceded in death by his Parents a Son, Matthew L. Brawner, 3 Brothers, Richard Owen Brawner, David Brawner, James C. Brawner.
He is survived by his loving Wife, Sharen M. Brawner of Elizabethtown, KY, Daughter, Angela Douglas of Elizabethtown, KY, Sister, Janice Noe of Elizabethtown, KY, 5 Grandchildren, Gauge Hodge, Tyler Brawner, Alex Hawkins, Zach Hawkins, Zuba "Breanna" Hodge, 8 Great-grandchildren, Kynsler Hawkins, Madison Hawkins, Zayleaha Atkinson, Dakota Hodge, Drake Hodge, Zensen Hawkins, Jesse Ann Moore, Dane Moore.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday December 6, 2025 1:00 pm at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, KY With Rev. Don Flanigan, and Rev. Tommy House officiating. Burial will be held at the Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Friday 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm or Saturday 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. There will be a Masonic services Friday at 7:00 pm and a Eastern Star service at 7:30 pm.
