William "Billy" Breiten

William "Billy" Breiten, 69, entered into rest on February 5, 2026 in Del Rio, Texas. He was born on February 4, 1957 in Andrews, Texas.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, W.C. and Mary Cunningham; his beloved wife, Tana Breiten; his stepson, Russell Oats; and his brother, Ricky Cunningham.

He is survived by his children, Christi and Randy Tartt; Casey and Jessica Breiten; and Cyndi and Marty Wright. He was a proud grandfather to Caden, Mason, Janie, Reece, Austen, Amanda, Beau, and Holly.

Billy worked as a cotton farmer in Pecos, Texas and later as a diesel mechanic, but most importantly, he was a lifetime fisherman who loved Lake Amistad. Whether on the water or in the company of friends, he found joy in simple pleasures and meaningful connections. He had friends from all walks of life and leaves behind many who will remember his stories, laughter, and liveliness.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to his devoted caretaker and dear friend, Linda Victorio, for her compassion and unwavering support.

An intimate memorial will be held at a later date.
