Billy was a man of great character, was my first dog park friend and we shared many good stories and laughter together. I´ll miss seeing him around town in his little white "work truck" or out at the softball fields with his girls. He never missed an opportunity to tell us he loved us. Love you Billy!

My husband,Terry and I loved Billy`s warm, energetic, and loving spirit. The fact that he was such a dog lover was just a plus to his big loving heart. Billy was a big part of our Thursday nights for many years. His zest for life was infectious.
My prayers are with Beth and the family at this time.

My deepest condolences. Billy was always funny, always cheerful. I first met him when I was 14 and he was 13. At that age, during the summer of 1969, he threw a memorable party at his parents' house on Brandon Mill Road that became the stuff of legend. His friends still remember it.
We had many good times together early in our lives, and a few in the later years. RIP, Billy. You are gone too soon.

I'm sorry to learn of Billy passing. I knew him since the 1st grade at Underwood Hills Elementary School. He was always a lively presence. Although, I hadn't seen him in many years, there are some fun memories of him.

Billy was a brother to me. One of the kindest men I´d come to know in my lifetime. We go back 34 wonderful years. Always a ready smile, a tremendous sense of humor, and a devoted husband to Beth. May the Lord be with you forever my brother.

Yes, a personality larger than life. I've known Billy since 1977 when we were coworkers at a restaurant, almost 50 years! I saw less of Billy after he and Beth retired to Bent Tree in Jasper. But we stayed in touch and he always enthusiastically had something nice to say. He was an unrelenting cheerleader of life. Of course he's gone too soon. I'm glad that Beth and Billy were able to retire and relax together at their home in the mountains . Billy was truly one of a kind. Ask Beth about the surprise wedding he created. (BTW: he was known as "Crazy Billy" to many of his friends) RIP Billy.
