William (Bill) E Brown, born February 10th 1939 in Syracuse, NY to Marjorie A. (Burr) and William E.K. Brown, passed away peacefully on December 5th, 2025.

William was predeceased by his oldest son William K Brown and his parents Marjorie and William and his cat "Binky".

He is survived by his devoted wife Marilyn; children Bob (Judy), Patti (Don), Crissy (Ed), Sheri, Tom (Debbie); his cherished grandchildren Jessica, Kelliann, Kimberly, Matthew and Mary, as well as his extended family and friends.

Bill was known for his joking nature. He was very intelligent, well read and a people person. He was strong in his faith in God, loved food, cooking, the arts, sports, collecting and most of all, his family & friends.

Bill had many interests. Wherever his passions took him, he became an expert. He loved sharing everything he learned with his family and friends. He enjoyed conversing with everyone. People loved him, his stories and his laughter. William was always encouraging his grandchildren to do their best and live life to its fullest.

Visitation will be private. A funeral mass will be held at Holy Name of Mary Assumption in Montgomery, NY on Thursday, December 18th, 2025 at 10:30am with burial to follow at Holy Name of Mary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The Salvation Army and Boys Town.
